TYING THE (REVERSED) UNI LOOP KNOT
When there are already so many loop knots of varying complexity to choose from, you may be wondering why you need to be studying yet another one! In the video that follows, I will attempt to answer this for you. Suffice it to say that after fairly exhaustive testing on my slickest braid of 9lbs b/s (0.06 mm) trying to improve such stalwarts as the Rapala Loop or Non Slip Mono Loop or Perfection Loop or Figure of Eight Loop, I barely made it to 6lbs b/s - with the majority hovering around the 4-5 lbs b/s. As soon as I reverted to the Uni Loop, I was straight away in the 7 lbs b/s - 7.8 lbs b/s (78% - 87%).
This knot provides the foundation for other variants such as The Pitzen Loop Knot or The San Diego Jam Loop Knot.
